generally places that accomplish little are structured with distributed accountability. And places with distributed accountability accomplish little. So while I am not surprised that this COULD happen (although based on the email train and the secret meeting in Jan/Feb whereby all communications changed from "weird, this can't be zoonotic" to "this must be zoonotic" there is no way Fauci did not know), the onus is on our government to inject accountability.
Fauci and lots of other people need to go to jail and have their lives ruined...
